  1. This release of explosiv represents a significant change in structure
  2. from previous versions of the screen saver.  In particular :
  3.  
  4. 1. It is NOT necessary to first run install to use this software.
  5.    However, install.exe can still be used to copy the necessary files
  6.    to your hard disk and modify your configuration so that explosiv
  7.    becomes resident upon bootup.
  8.                
  9. 2. The files explosiv.com, explosiv.exe and explosiv.ovl must be in
  10.    the same directory.  You can
  11.     a) Put these files in your path.
  12.     b) Put these files in a directory and copy explosiv.com to
  13.        your path.  Then run "set EXPLOSIV=<directory>".
  14.     c) Put these files in a directory and create a batch file
  15.        in your path to run explosiv.

  17. Explosiv for DOS now stores all displays dynamically in the file
  18. explosiv.ovl.  Since this file will be rewritten whenever you change
  19. the display library it is strongly recommended that you make a backup
  20. of the distributed explosiv.ovl before using the explosiv librarian.

  46. The registered version of explosiv.ovl consists of 98 display entries
  47. while the shareware version has 65 entries.

  50. ADDENDUM

  52. It is recommended that you install explosiv on a disk that has sufficient
  53. disk space.  Explosiv needs to make a copy of explosiv.ovl whenever you
  54. change the display library, this will fail if the disk is full.
